Allow me to toot our collective horn for a bit?
I just got word that The Inspired Solo was nominated as one of the top 100 blawgs in the ABA Journal‘s editor-selected “Blawg 100.” It’s been placed in a category of “Your So-Called Life” (which is … OK, odd, since this isn’t a personal blog — haven’t we been here before?) but – hey! Whatever floats the editors’ boats is fine by me. After all, it doesn’t matter what you call me as long as you don’t call me late for dinner.
This blog has, in its short existence, apparently impacted a significant group of quality folks, judging from the email in my inbox, and it’s only right that this honor be shared with the readers who in large part shape this blog and its contents with their refreshingly outspoken opinions as well as with the many guest authors we’ve been privileged to host:
- Kimberly De Carrera
- Sharon Nelson
- Rick Georges
- Aaron Ritmaster
- Paul Slough
- jennifer j. rose
- Kevin Hickey
- The dozens of readers who suggested ideas, asked questions, shared rants and dreams with me (who asked to remain anonymous)
You’ve all helped make this place what it is — and I thank you, from the bottom of my inspired heart!
The voting at Blawg 100, according to the Journal site, will be open until January 2, 2008. I would greatly appreciate your vote!
